Ekovest's unit bags RM6.32b project

Kuala Lumpur: Lebuhraya DUKE Fasa 2A Sdn Bhd (LDF2A), a unit of Ekovest Bhd, has obtained principle approval from the government for the proposed privatisation of the Kampung Baru Link, Istana Link and Kapar Link Expressway.In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Tuesday, the company said the estimated total project cost was RM6.32 billion which was expected to be financed through internally generated funds, borrowings and/or other fund raising exercises.

The proposed project, approximately 75.2 kilometres, is expected to provide vital connectivity and direct linkage for movements and seamless travelling in and around Kuala Lumpur City Center and the Klang Valley. – Bernama
