Kolombong collision claims man
Kota Kinabalu: A 34-year-old died on the spot when the Toyota Camry he was driving collided with a Perodua Myvi along Jalan Kolombong-Lintas, near Iramanis, Wednesday.Daniel Iskandar bin Abdullah (pic), believed to be a car salesman, succumbed to serious injuries in the 10.15pm tragedy.

Daniel and the Myvi driver were believed heading from Kolombong to go to City Mall at the time.

It was learnt that Daniel lost control of the wheel and hit the right side of the Myvi which caused the latter to rear-end a Honda driven by a 32-year-old, who was also driving in the same direction.

The impact caused the Camry to hit a tree before turning turtle.

The Myvi and Honda drivers sustained no serious injuries. Firefighters extricated the body of Daniel from his car.
