'I Love Penang' campaign launched

GEORGE TOWN: The DAP-led Penang government Wednesday launched the 'I Love Penang' campaign in an effort to prevent the state from being made a federal territory. Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the campaign represented a symbolic rejection of the proposal by Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor who had expressed the desire to make Penang a federal territory. "The state executive council meeting today decided to launch the 'I Love Penang' campaign throughout the state.
