Semporna man electrocuted while doing an illegal connection

Semporna: A 35-year-old man was electrocuted while carrying out an illegal wiring connection to a nearby house at Jalan Bubul Lama, here, Saturday.District Fire and Rescue Department Chief Fazizul Hizam Borhan said two fire engines manned by seven personnel were deployed to the scene after being alerted about 3.30pm via MERS999."Our team was assisted by personnel from the Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) who brought Mohd Said Jainol down and handed him over to the police for further action," he said.ADVERTISEMENT Operations coordinator Abdul Kadir Halalan said the man was in a motionless state when he was lifted down from the electricity post (pic).
