Badminton meet in Tamparuli March 4 - 6

Kota Kinabalu: The 2017 Sabah State under-21 and under-18 badminton championship will be held at the Adventist Auditorium Tamparuli from March 4-6.The tournament organised by Sabah Badminton Association (SBA) is aimed to select players to represent the state in the National Under-18, Under-21, under-18 youth team tournaments as well as the Sabah Elite team. Organising chairman Golubi Guntarek said is it open to all Malaysians who have resided in Sabah or Labuan for at least three months.

Players from other states who wish to take part will need approval letter from their respective state associations and they will have to don Sabah colours for two years (2017-18) if they are selected to represent the state.All local players need to submit their entries through their respective district association and letters from both associations are needed if a player opt to represent another district.Each district is allowed to register a maximum of four players in each category and each player can only participate in one category.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
