Kota Kinabalu: Two parking sheds that were built illegally were removed by their owners at Signal Hill following notices issued by Kota Kinabalu City Hall (KKCH).According to Mayor Datuk Yeo Boon Hai, KKCH issued a warning notice on Feb 6, 2017. The owners were given seven days to remove the structures.However, upon a follow-up inspection on Feb 14, the owners had not taken any action.

City Hall then issued a demolition notice of seven days which expired on Monday. While inspecting the site, Yeo noted that the owners had already removed the two parking sheds themselves.
He thanked the owners for their cooperation.Meanwhile, Yeo said City Hall also received a complaint from the residents that there is a road constructed illegally and assured that action would be taken accordingly.
