Club lends a helping hand to ex-state volleyball player

Tawau: The Tawau Gagil Volleyball Club ended their two – year search for a missing State volleyball player in the 80s to hand over their donation. Mad Nasip Apuadam is presently bedridden in Kampung Pangi in Kunak due to a stroke and has lost the use of half his body due to paralysis. Club chairman Hassan Tarasan said he had learnt Mad Nasip had moved from Lahad Datu to Kunak from friends.

"We visited Mad Nasip at his home last Saturday and handed our donation to reduce the burden of his family," said Hassan, adding that Mad Nasip had been paralysed for three years. According to him, Mad Nasip is going through hardship as he still had to put his four children aged six to 17 through school without an income. Hassan who handed the club's donation of RM500 hope to give more to him after the organising of its progammes on Feb 25 (Saturday). Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

The club will be holding the Men's Volleyball Charity Invitation and the Ex-Players Reunion Dinner in Tawau.
