Chemical engineer killed in crash into tree

Kota Kinabalu: A chemical engineer was killed when the Honda CRZ she was driving crashed into a tree along Jalan Coastal near Grace Ville in Sembulan, here, Saturday. The 27-year-old Sino-Kadazan, Michelle Eliza Johnny, succumbed to her injuries at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital about 4.42am. She was said to be heading towards Tanjung Aru from Kota Kinabalu when she lost control of the vehicle about 3.30am.

It was learnt that the mishap took place just a few minutes' drive away from her house in Taman Sempelang, Sembulan. Firefighters from Sembulan took about 20 minutes to assist the woman out of the vehicle. Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
