Kota Kinabalu: Simon SK Goh was elected Chairman of the Technological Association of Malaysia (TAM) Sabah Branch for the 2017-2018 term at its 20th Annual General Meeting on Saturday.Goh takes over from Thomas Wong Tze Cheong, who was chairman for the 2016-2017 term.Among those on the board of directors are first and second Vice-Chairman Tan Heng Ah and Lee Wai Ling; Secretary David Chung Jia Jiunn; and Treasurer Wong Thien Pin.

Completing the board are Technical Visit Committee Chairman Sham Chee Kin, Non-Technical Visit Committee Chairman Willian Tong, Publicity Committee Chairman Jacob N N Yan and Committee Member Ong Keng Hwa.The Technological Association of Malaysia is an organisation for all levels and disciplines of technologists, from the professionals to students and everyone whose career is technological in nature.
TAM is intimately concerned with the advances in technological progress as well as the pursuit of knowledge in the field of technology.TAM also aims to bring about a clearer understanding and appreciation of technology and to instil among members a strong desire to achieve professional competence and the highest standard of technological skills.
