Alan, Aidah bag singles titles

Kota Kinabalu: Alan Au and Aidah Wong captured the men and women singles title at the 2017 Kota Kinabalu Table Tennis Championship held over the weekend at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex Hostel Hall.Second place in the men's event went to Leong Jia Cheng with Dr Kew and Sim Teck Siung in joint third while the second and joint third in the women's category went to Connie Leong, Ker Zi Qin and Wennie Fo respectively.In the age group categories, the boys Under-18 title was won by David Ho with Aaric Wong in second while joint third place went to Beh Jing Hong and Beh Jing Xiang. Aidah Wong took the girls Under-18 title followed by Wennie Fo in second, Kew Zi Qin and Connie Leong in joint third.

The Under-15 boys title went to Aaric Wong, Jordan Annesley in second, Beh Jin Hong and Yii Ming Siang in joint third. Carnie Fo was the girls Under-15 champion with Kew Zi Qin in second while Rachel Ng and Kew Zi Hui in joint third.Joshua Chin clinched the boys Under-13 title with Cyprian Yap in second place and Aiwan Wong/Edrian Yap joint third. The Under-13 girls title went to Venise Ng followed by Pau Jin Shun, Iris Wah and Kew Zi Hui in joint third.The top three in the Under-10 boys and girls categories went to Cyprian Yap, Esly Ferdy Soulis, Mohd Zamil Mohd Zaini/Muntashim Azkia Mohd Rafi and Aadah Wong, Daveney Yap, Nurhikma Mohd Rafi/Slyvia Chin respectively.In the Perpaduan Singles (mixed) category, Aaric Wong was the winner followed by Jordan Annesley, Aidah Wong and Arafah Sisa while the veteran singles title went to Dr Kew, second place was won by Mohd Redzlan with Daniel Chong and Li Sze Min in joint third.
