Kota Kinabalu: Jelius Ating wants his players to play it smart against Terengganu at the Stadium Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah KT this evening (Friday)."We need to play smart. The players must be fully focused and cannot afford to make any silly mistakes.

Terengganu are a very good team and we will play a compact game, hopefully something positive will come out of the match," he said on Thursday.

He reckoned there will not be any major changes in the team starting line up.

"It will probably be the same as in the match against Negeri Sembilan in the FA Cup last week.

Only Rawilson (Batuil) who had served his one match suspension is returning to the squad.

"Dendy Lowa will move to the right with Jenius (Karib) on the left while Rawilson will partner Igor Cerina in the middle and Rozaimi Rohmi remained as keeper."

The former State skipper also said he will apply the same formation as last week with Azizan Nordin and Sabri Sahar playing defensive roles in midfield.

"We have no choice but to deploy two defensive midfielders as Masaya (Jitozono) and Sofiane (Choulbani) are both attacking minded and not good in defensive role."

He also said he hoped Leopold Alfonso and import Jonathan Behe will deliver the goods tonight.

The match tonight will be his second in charge of the team following the 1-0 defeat by Negeri Sembilan in the first leg of the FA Cup quarterfinal last week.

Sabah are currently second from bottom in the table standing with only four points while Terengganu are second on the other end with 18 points.

Their next game is against Kuantan at home on April 14. - GL Oh
