MCC Overseas, Anzo to jointly develop Paragon@KL

Kuala Lumpur: MCC Overseas (M) Sdn Bhd, Malaysian subsidiary of China Metallurgical Group Corp, has been chosen to be the joint design and technology contractor with Anzo Holdings Bhd for the RM3.6 billion Paragon@KL Northgate mixed development project. It's developer, KL Northgate Sdn Bhd, has issued a letter of intent inviting Anzo Holdings Bhd's unit, Harvest Court Construction Sdn Bhd, to jointly undertake the construction of the project, MCC Overseas said in a statement Monday.

'The project, with a total gross floor area of 3.9 million sq ft is a part of a mixed development with high-rise towers on 7.8 hectares along Jalan Kuching, and is set to become a landmark in Selayang and northern Kuala Lumpur.

'The project, among others, consists of a five-storey shopping mall, 54 shop office units, 31-storey residence tower, 27-storey hotel tower, 30-storey hotel tower, 37-storey service suites and ballroom, as well as hologram hall,' it said.

MCC Group is China's leading multi-disciplinary and multinational company under the direct supervision of China's State Asset and Administration Commission, and is listed on the Hong Kong and Shanghai stock exchange.

It has successfully expanded beyond Asia-Pacific into Europe, Africa, West Asia, Australia, US and others. – Bernama
