The Hibah Amanah (trust gift) is a contract/agreement whereby the depositor voluntarily "gifts" his savings to the beneficiary (ies) during his lifetime, and the beneficiary (ies) would be able to claim the savings according to the specifications of the agreement upon the depositor's demise. However, the depositor would still be able to enjoy the full benefit from his savings and conduct transactions during his lifetime. The Hibah Amanah is unique as it allowed a Muslim convert to gift his savings to his non-Muslim beneficiaries, and thus is more universal in nature, said TH. –Bernama
