Woman govt servant charged

Kota Kinabalu: A government servant was charged at the Magistrate's Court here on Monday with using two forged medical certificates.Suhanisah Kudien, 33, pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Jessica Ombou Kakayun to two counts of the offence.She allegedly used as genuine a forged medical certificate between 8am and 5pm on June 29, 2016 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital I.

On the second count, Suhanisah is accused of using as genuine another forged medical certificate between 8am and 5pm on June 4, 2016 at the same place.Each offence under Section 471 of the Penal Code is punishable under Section 465 of the same Code which carries a jail term of up to two years or fine or both on conviction.The court set June 19 for pre-trial case management and released Suhanisah on a bail of RM1,500 in two sureties on each count.Suhanisah is represented by counsel Nor Azmi Alimat.

In another case, a 23-year-old housewife claimed trial to cheating two women of RM3,940 over an online business.Zieverlia Simon on the first count, is accused of cheating one Henny Salidan over the purchase of pre-order handphones causing Henny to bank in RM1,640 into her bank account at Maybank, in the Giant hypermarket in Kolombong, Inanam at 12.58pm on Oct 26, 2016.

On the second count, Zieverlia allegedly cheated one Rita Hiong over a similar matter causing Hiong to transfer RM2,300 into her bank account at Taman Fu Yen, Jalan Luyang at 9.20pm on Nov 15, 2016.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
