18 teams to take part in Inter-Church basketball meet

Kota Kinabalu: Eighteen men and women's teams from 10 churches will take part in the 4th UGKK Inter-Church Basketball Championship, which will start on June 16 at the Kota Kinabalu Community Hall.Organising Chairman Tai Ket Hau said the theme for this year competition is "Rise As One" to remind all participants the importance of having team spirit, unity, complementing attitude to achieve a common goal. In this year's competition, the men's division will be divided into A and B based on previous year's results and new teams are automatically categorised in division B.
