No water meter: House owner compounded RM3,000

Tawau: A rented house at Batu 2, Jalan Saddani was discovered to have not been using a water meter by the Water Department on Friday.District Water Engineer, Ishar Sulaiman Ismail, said a team of their enforcement personnel arrived at the location to carry out water disconnection operations at 10am."We also compounded the 46-year-old house owner RM3,000 for failing to make the connection of water to the house legal," he said.
