30 Pan Borneo Highway work packages for tender

Kota Kinabalu: Thirty work packages of the Pan Borneo Highway project in Sabah will be tendered out to qualified companies in stages starting this month.Managing Director of Borneo Highway PDP (BHP) Sdn Bhd Ir Shahelmey Yahya said Tuesday that the process is expected to be completed by end of this year.In the meantime, five other work packages which had already been awarded to companies are currently in the construction phase.ADVERTISEMENT "We're committed to the terms of the agreement that we will complete the whole project by 31 December 2021 as agreed between the State Government and the Federal Government," he said during a breaking of fast gathering organised by the company.Also present were Deputy Works Minister Datuk Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin who represented the Chief Minister, State Public Works Department Director Datuk Ir Amrullah Kamal, State Land and Survey Department Director Datuk Safar Untong, State Water Department Director Ir Willis Ansoi and Borneo Highway PDP (BHP) Sdn Bhd Chairman Datuk Felix Madan.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
