Sandakan: All Road Transport Department (RTD) offices in Sabah have been urged to emulate RTD Sandakan and its weighing station at Mile 32 here that have received certificates recognising them as litter-free offices for two consecutive years from the Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS).Sabah RTD Director Dato' Suhaili Mohd Taufek said RTD Sandakan and its weighing station at Mile 32 are among the first RTD offices in Sabah that received such recognition and second in the whole country.

He hoped the RTD here could maintain its excellent performance when it received several awards few years ago, and continue to win more in coming years.

"I hope other RTD offices in Sabah would follow the footsteps of RTD Sandakan and its weighing station for quality performance.

"Apart from here, RTD office in Kudat has recently received such certificate from the district council," he said.

Suhaili said this in his speech at the presentation of litter-free office certificate to RTD Sandakan and its weighing station office at Mile 7 here on Wednesday.
