Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Rhinos will not take Misc-Mifa lightly when the two teams clash in the Premier League match at the Likas Stadium tonight (Friday) at 9pm.Head coach Jelius Ating is wary of the threat posed by the second from bottom club team even though the home fans may expect them to brush the visitors aside.

"At this stage of the season, every game is hard. It's always difficult to prepare, to stay focused, but we have to know we'll have a tough game as our opponents need the points to stay up, so they will do all they can to achieve that."

He said winning the game is a must for Sabah as they too want to move further away from the relegation zone.

"As I said before, our priority now is to build a strong foundation for next season, so I expect the players to show what they can do for the team in the remaining matches.

"Winning the match is very important to us. We cannot afford another slip up as we did against PKNP two weeks ago. For this reason, the players must stay focused.

"The defeat to PKNP was a good lesson for the players and they showed their determined side to beat UiTM in the following match, so I hope the players can maintain their momentum tomorrow night.

"Another crucial point is that they must not give any space to the opponents. They need to play as a team,

supporting each other in attacks and defence, and if they can do that I am confident we can deliver the result."

Jelius also disclosed that South Korean defensive midfielder Heo Jaenyeong is still rested and will not be on the bench.

The likely starting 11 for the coach is Rozaimie Rohim in goal, Rawilson Batuil, Francis Kasonale, Dendy Lowa and Alto Linus in defence while the midfield will consist of Sabri Sahar and Azizan Nordin in the centre with Maxsius or Umareng on the left with Leopold Alfonso on the right. The two strikers up front will be Lee Kil Hoon and Rodoljub Paunovic. - GL Oh
