Girl, 15, raped and sodomised by dad

PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested a man whom they believe has been raping and sodomising his own teenage daughter over the past two years.The 15-year-old had earlier told her mother that she has been a victim of her father's sexual urges for the past two years.Shocked by her daughter's revelations, the mother lodged a report at the Sungai Way police station on Tuesday night, which led police to launch a manhunt for the 36-year-old father.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said the self-employed man was later arrested at his home in Petaling Jaya on Wednesday."The man had allegedly been raping and sodomising his own 15-year-old daughter since 2015. We have arrested him for further questioning," he said.It is learned that the man and the girl's mother have been divorced since 2016, after which the teenager went to live with her father. It is understood that she would occasionally visit her mother, who also lives in Petaling Jaya, and revealed the matter to her during one of those visits.
