Seven Semporna homes destroyed

Semporna: At least seven homes were destroyed in a fire at Kg Panji Tengah/Bangau-Bangau, here, at about 5.20pm on Thursday.District Police Chief Supt Peter Umbuas said the Fire and Rescue Services Department dispatched two fire engines and firefighters to the scene upon receiving a distress call at 5.21pm.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Umbuas said no casualties were reported so far and the cause of the fire and total losses are still under investigation. All the victims were relocated to a hall in Kg Bangau-Bangau. - Lagatah Toyos
