Sedco group manages RM629m revenue
Kota Kinabalu: The economic slowdown coupled with the weakening Ringgit posed great impact to the Sedco Group and adversely affected the group's performance since 2015.Sedco group, nevertheless, managed to record group turnover of RM629.7 million in 2016 and RM276.6 million for the first half of 2017.

Main contributors to the group turnover are Cement Industries (Sabah), Lahad Datu Flour Mill.

Perkasa Trading, Nippon Paint (Sabah) and Kinabalu International Hotel (owner of Hyatt Regency Kinabalu).

At the holding corporation level, Sedco managed to record turnover of RM24.6 million and pre-tax profit of RM22.7 million in 2016.

It continues to strategically reposition itself to minimise further impact on the group performance in 2017, it said in a statement.
