Cancer patient completes hitch hiking mission

Tawau: Having diagnosed with stage 3 blood cancer or Hodgkin Lymphoma in July 2014 did not stop Mohd Zaki Yamani Azman from completing his hitch hike mission throughout Borneo since Aug 29.Inspired by a friend from Finland, Zaki who only brings his identification card, driving licence, some clothes and camping equipment and one ringgit, travels from one place to another by hitch hiking.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

"Even though I am a stranger, not only am I given a ride but also provided a place to stay and food before continuing my journey," he said.

Zaki who received RM300 from the Community Welfare Department and RM100 from National Cancer Council (Makna) said this solo project was a training for the coming World Exploration Mission in March.
