Musa is made Tan Sri
Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Hj Aman is among three people from Sabah conferred the Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) which carries the title "Tan Sri" in conjunction with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V's official birthday today (Saturday).The two others are Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah President Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr) Goh Tian Chuan and Founder-Chairman of Tanah Permai Sdn Bhd, Datuk Paul Lim Pau Chang. Both are leading businessmen in the State.

Three people were conferred the Seri Setia Mahkota (SSM) that carries the title "Tun".

They were Chief Justice Tan Sri Dato Seri Md Raus bin Sharif, Tan Sri Chen Wing Sum and ex-MIC President and currently Special Envoy to India, Dato Seri S Samy Vellu. Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Treasurer Ngan Yun Kiang, Parti Bersatu Sabah Vice President Ng Loi Tect and his party colleague Wong Fung Kiang, Upko Treasurer cum Putatan Member of Parliament Datuk Dr Marcus Mojigoh and Upko Acting Deputy President Datuk Siringan Gubat received the Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN) which carries the title "Datuk".

Several Sabahans also received other awards.

Musa, who is also State Finance Minister and Umno Sabah Liaison Chief, was born on March 30, 1951, and is the 14th Chief Minister of Sabah, having assumed office in 2003. He received his primary education in St Paul Primary School, Beaufort and later attended Sabah College in Kota Kinabalu and All Saints Secondary School.

He pursued his tertiary education and received the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia.

Goh, 56, a former police officer, is also Federation of Sabah and Labuan FT Hokkien Associations President.

Lim, 64, is Honorary Adviser to the Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS), Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (Sabah Branch), United Sabah Chinese Communities Association Kota Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu Journalists Association (KKJA), United Sabah Hokkien Association and Sabah Eng Choon Association.
