O'Toole extends lead to six shots

Kota Kinabalu: American John Michael O'Toole fired a two-under-par 70 to extend his lead by six shots in the third round of the PGM EurAsia Sabah Championship on Friday.He traded three birdies against as many bogeys through 14 holes but late birdies on 15 and 17 handed him a commanding lead at the Sabah Golf and Country Club.Thailand's Nattawat Suvajanakorn sits in second place following a 71 while American duo James Bowen (70) and Paul Harris (71) are a further two shots back in third place at the RM200,000 (approx. US$44,600).ADVERTISEMENT With a total of 13-under-par 203, O'Toole has led for three rounds and is now a step closer towards winning his second ADT title.The American stayed true to his game plan and remained patient despite struggling to judge the speed of the greens."I was playing well and it was good to make a couple of late birdies to extend my lead. I stayed patient today even though I didn't get anything going. But I'm still in a good position.
