Ex-Matabian squatters in Keramat form panel

Kota Kinabalu: A group of former Matabian squatters now residing in Taman Keramat here has set up a new residents committee to assist in solving their predicament. The committee was set up during a courtesy call on Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Madius Tangau at his residence in Penampang, on Friday.Tangau had advised them to form the committee to make it easier for them to discuss with the authorities.

He also asked them to finalise the list of residents. It was done later and came up to 30 names, all locals."All of you should be part of the solution.
