An awesome six-pack earns Riano RM1,500

Labuan: Riano Engan from One Fitness Gym exhibited his awesome "clear-cut" six-pack and took home the biggest purse of RM1,500 offered in the Swole Up Classics 2017 held here.The runners-up in this above 75kg category were Md Saiful Paun (Brunei) – RM1,000 and Mulaodi Zandi (Jays gym) – RM800. The two who got consolation prizes were Suhaili Japin (One Fitness) and Romanus Alasa (Swole Up).In the below 75kg category, Henro Lee from Swole Up made Labuan proud by grabbing the top spot and cash of RM1,000. Firdaus Mohd of Brunei took the second spot followed by Firman Rayner of Warrior Gym.

Two others who sat on consolation spots were Md Fazil Ibrahim (DKOR Gym) and Jeff Jummat (Jays Gym).For the men's physique above 170cm, the winners were Mud Azizi Hj Annuar (Brunei), Zaylo De Leong (Tamparuli), Liaw Vee Chong (Swole Up) and Brian Chong (Warriors). In the below 170cm, the top spot went to Aron Imbayan (Tuaran), Ahmad Alauding Arfiahi (Labuan), Terence Watis (Membakut), Romanus Alasa (Swole up) and Hasmin Sarumin (Sabah).Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Chief judge of the competition Jesse Tsen said 51 hulksters took part in the event and they were mostly from Brunei, Sabah and here. She said such tournaments were useful in boosting the interest of bodybuilders as the meet brings together musclemen from other gyms and it is a chance for them to get together to socialise and exchange ideas in the sport. - Sohan Das
