SUCCC grateful to CM for RM100,000 allocation

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah United Chinese Chambers of Commerce (SUCCC) President Tan Sri Andrew Liew Sui Fatt expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman for allocating RM100,000 to SUCCC.He also thanked Musa for gracing the 41st SUCCC installation ceremony on Thursday despite having just returned from an overseas trip before flying to Tawau to welcome the arrival of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Friday.The Chief Minister had announced an allocation of RM100,000 to SUCCC during his speech at the event.

Liew said Musa's presence at the event reflected the close ties between the State Government and the Chinese community in Sabah, and vowed to lead his committee in promoting educational and economic development of the Chinese community in the State.He also pledged strong support for the State Government led by Musa who he said has been giving assistance and attention to all people irrespective of race and religion. He said the Chinese community in Sabah was proud of the Chief Minister's commitment in helping associations, schools and non-Islamic places of worship, adding Musa disbursed allocations to schools, associations and non-Islamic religious bodies on Sept 19.Liew said the Chinese community and recipients would always remember the State Government's assistance.
