AZRB bags MRT Line 2 contract worth RM288.5m

Kuala Lumpur: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB) has secured an additional package worth RM288.5 million for Line 2 of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project from Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd.In a statement, AZRB said the contract was for package S206 of the Sungai Buloh–Serdang–Putrajaya (SSP) Line, which comprised the construction of three elevated stations, as well as other associated works at Serdang Raya (South), Seri Kembangan and Universiti Putra Malaysia."Works are expected to commence immediately, and would last for the next 48 months," it said.ADVERTISEMENT AZRB Group Managing Director, Datuk Seri Wan Zakariah Wan Muda said this additional package awarded to the company demonstrated its capability and excellent track record as a railway infrastructure builder.The company has successfully completed packages V6 and S6 of MRT Line 1 and is now undertaking package V202 of MRT Line 2.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
