Duo cheat death in Ranau mishap

Ranau: A local electrical wireman and his cousin cheated death after two vehicles collided at Km 3 of the Ranau-Tamparuli road, Thursday.In the incident at about 9.35am, the victim's vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner was rammed on its left by a Ford Ranger, believed to be a rented vehicle driven by a tourist from China. The incident was recorded via a dash cam inside a car not far from the incident.

District Police Chief DSP Mohd Farhan Lee Abdullah told the media that in the incident, the tourist was trying to overtake a lorry around a corner.
