Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia's challenge at the China Open ended Friday when national badminton ace, Datuk Lee Chong Wei went down to Angus Ng Ka Long of Hong Kong in the quarter-final.The World Badminton Federation (BWF) official website said Chong Wei, who was seeded seventh for the tournament, slogged for 70 minutes before losing in a three-set thriller, 12-21, 21-15 and 19-21.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Earlier, Chong Wei avenged his loss to Brice Leverdez by winning the second round match at Hiaxia Olympic Sports Centre.
