Kuala Lumpur: A report lodged by a Bangladeshi woman who claimed she was gang-raped turned out to be false.Police are now trying to establish why the woman lied in her report where she claimed she was kidnapped and raped by five Myanmar men.Sepang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Aziz Ali said the woman, a 28-year-old university student has been arrested.

"Investigations will be carried out to ascertain why she lodged the false report," he said.The woman had claimed six Myanmar and two Bangladeshi men barged into the home in Dengkil, Selangor around midnight on Nov 13.
