Warning of strong winds till Saturday

Kuala Lumpur: Strong Northeasterly winds of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour (kmph) and waves up to 4.5 metres are expected to hit the waters of Condore, Reef North and Layang-Layang until Saturday, Dec 9.The Meteorological Department in a statement Tuesday said that strong winds and rough seas were dangerous to all shipping and beach activities including fishing and ferry services.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

The first category warning of strong winds with speeds of 40 to 50 kmph with waves up to 3.5 metres, posed dangers to small boats, sea recreation and sea sports, the statement said. – Bernama
