Kota Kinabalu: An unemployed man was fined RM25 or spend one month in jail for peeping a woman in the toilet.Julsapri Jasman, 23, admitted before Magistrate Afiq Agoes to behaving disorderly and causing annoyance to the 31-year-old woman in the toilet at the Yayasan Sabah Technical College, near here, at 4.20pm, Jan 1.The facts of the case stated that the woman was in one of the toilet cubicles when she noticed an unknown man peeping at her from on top of the cubicle divider.

The woman, who was frightened, ran away and shouted for help.A security guard, who heard the woman's cried for help, rushed to the women's toilet and nabbed Julsapri who was hiding in the toilet.
Julsapri was subsequently handed over to the police.He had committed an offence under Section 15 of the Minor Offences Ordinance which provides for a RM25 fine or jail.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man who was charged with causing hurt to another man, will go on trial on Feb 14-15.Mohd Faris Jaafar maintained his innocence to assaulting one Jerry Ongkol, 28, with a plank at 11pm on Dec 22, last year, at the Likas Vocational College's teachers' residence.

He had on Dec 28 last year claimed trial to the charge under Section 323 of the Penal Code which provides for a jail term of up to a year or fine or both conviction.
