Kota Kinabalu: A 55-year-old man was allegedly assaulted at a coffee shop shortly after midnight at Lintas Plaza here, Friday, after witnessing an accident between a BMW SUV and a Harley Davidson motorcycle.According to the man known as Tham, he was chatting with a friend at the coffee shop when he witnessed the accident.

He claimed the Harley driver stopped to inspect his bike after the accident and approached the BMW's lady driver, shouting at her before telling her to park at the side of the road.

The man then shouted at the rest of the people in the area, including Tham, as he claimed the accident was caused by vehicles parked by the side of the road.

When Tham inquired why he was shouting at him, he said the man ran towards him and tugged his shirt before hitting his head with a motorcycle helmet.
