IDOTTV teams up with Matrix

Kuala Lumpur: IDOTTV Sdn Bhd has entered into a strategic partnership with Matrix Energy Sdn Bhd to design, install and commission energy-saving devices and provision of other solutions designed to reduce energy consumption for a telecommunication company for 10 years.IDOTTV is a wholly-owned unit of Senadia Innovator Bhd.In a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Monday, Senadia said, under the partnership, its unit and Matrix Energy would collaborate to undertake provision of green technology solution at selected facilities.

It said IDOTTV would be responsible to procure green technology solutions at its own costs and expenses."Historically, the average electricity bills for the selected facilities was RM2.02 million per month. Both parties agreed that the targeted energy savings rate shall be on average of 22 per cent from the telecommunications company's future monthly electricity bills," it said.Senadia said the achieved energy savings would be shared among all parties.

Sedania said the agreement has commenced as of March 9, 2018 and would continue throughout the period of 10 years from the date the green technology solutions were installed in each site. –Bernama
