Rain interrupts junior tennis matches

Sandakan: The 32nd Sabah Inter Affiliates Tennis Championship kicked off Sunday with the junior team competition.However, the tournament organised by Sandakan District Tennis Association (SDTA) has seen the morning matches interrupted by rain for the last two days.Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Lahad Datu and Tawau are participating in the girls category, while only three districts have sent their boys team namely Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu and Tawau for the four-day meet.

There were some problems due to some students having other programmes during the term holidays. Sabah Tennis Association (STA) president Johnson Koh expressed his dissatisfaction with the affiliates who did not send their teams. Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
