Kota Kinabalu: Malaysians in Sabah have so much to thank Prime Minister Dato Sri Najib Razak for his commitment on Sabah rights and must be supported so he can deliver on his promise as well as realise the dreams of the forefathers of what Malaysia should be."Sabah has seen progress with the Prime Minister vowing not only to defend the rights of Sabahans contained in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 but to return the powers to the State that were inadvertently taken by the Federal Government.

"No Prime Minister of Malaysia since the inception of the Federation of Malaysia 55 years ago had made such a commitment to the people of Sabah and Sarawak," said its Secretary and former PBS Petagas Assemblyman Datuk James Ligunjang, to mark the second anniversary of MySabah.

MySabah is a social media platform to help address important issues affecting the State, particularly constitutional rights as laid out in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).

It is headed by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman and comprises a diverse group of concerned politicians of various political divides, senior retired government servants, professionals and ordinary folks.

"My Sabah's role is to inform and educate the public on the rights of Sabahans embodied in the Federal Constitution and to assist the State where possible to seek redress from Putrajaya with the welfare of Sabahans in mind," Lijungang said.

He noted that it had been accused  of having political objectives especially Anifah "when all we care for are the people of Sabah".

"We are apolitical in our approach," he stressed.
