Kuala Lumpur: Dialog Broadband Networks (Pvt) Ltd (DBN) has entered into a Shareholder Agreement with St. Anthony's Property Developers (Pvt) Ltd to acquire, through a primary issuance, a 35 per cent equity stake in Digital Reality (Pvt) Ltd (DRPL) for LKR262.5 million (about RM6.37 million).DBN, which is listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dialog Axiata PLC which in turn is an 83.32 per cent subsidiary of Axiata Group.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, the group said the purpose of DRPL was to establish, operate and manage a data centre in Sri Lanka.

DBN is Sri Lanka's second largest fixed telecommunications provider and serves residential and enterprise customers with voice, broadband, leased lines, data centre solutions and other customised telecommunication services, said the group. – Bernama
