YS roadshow in K'gau tomorrow

Kota Kinabalu: An array of interesting activities await visitors to the fifth edition of the Yayasan Sabah Bersama Rakyat (YSBR) roadshow at the Keningau Community Hall, tomorrow (Saturday).

Among the activities will be a talk on entrepreneurship by actor and television host Datuk AC Mizal where he will focus on instilling positivity among the participants.

The entertainer had acted in 15 feature films and had won several awards throughout his career.

Another highlight of the roadshow is the presentation of the record-breaking longest batik painting in the Malaysia Book of Records.

The roadshow will be officiated by Chief Minister cum Yayasan Sabah Board of Trustees chairman Tan Sri Musa Aman.

Yayasan Sabah Group will also be signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bumiputera Agenda Driving Unit (Teraju) to boost the development of handicraft industry in the State.

Aside from that, Yayasan Sabah Group will also showcase the Magical Colours of Borneo, a fashion show featuring local hand-print batik.

The Mobile Community Transformation Centre (Mobile CTC) in collaboration with the Sabah Federal Treasury will also provide their services.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, an entrepreneurship seminar was also held for 500 entrepreneurs under the supervision of agencies such as Sabah Mara, Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM), Yayasan Usaha Maju and Sabah Women Affairs Department (Jhewa), among others.
