Closure of KK roads today

Kota Kinabalu: Several main roads and parking bays in the city centre will be closed temporarily today (April 22), in conjunction with the "Freedom of Entry 2018" programme, to be held at the Malaysia Memorial Monument at the compound of Lintasan Deasoka and City Hall headquarters.

According to a statement from City Hall, both directions along Jalan Bandaran and parking bays at Taman Poket have been closed since Saturday until 4pm on Sunday.

It said both directions along Jalan Tugu, road access at the City Library up to Maternal and Child Clinic and some parts of Jalan Pantai will also be closed today starting 7am until noon for the parade and procession of the programme.
