Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Rhinos are hoping to have their new foreign imports ready for their match against Felda United away on May 24.The team are currently having trial with several imports at the Likas Stadium since Saturday following the departure of South Korean Lee Gil-Hoon.

Team manager Datuk Juil Nuantin said on Monday that they will try their very best to get the best available players to strengthen the team.

"Our aim is to strengthen the team. There are six players who came for the trial right now.

"The decision will be made by the panel led by Jelius (Ating). I trust his judgement and I believe he has set his sight on what type of players are needed in this team.

"Hopefully we can get one or maybe two for the match against Felda United. If we cannot get their documents ready on time then we may have to do without one or two foreign imports in that match."

The six players who attended the trial are Spanish Carlos Calvo Sobrado, South Korean Ko Jae-Sung, Japanese Keisuke Ogawa and Faysal Shayesteh from Afghanistan who arrived on Saturday while Aryn Glen Williams of Australia and another South Korean Lee Chang Hoon showed up on Monday.

As of Tuesday only Ogawa, Williams and Lee are left with another new player coming in.
