Kota Kinabalu: Three people were slightly injured when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded into a drain near Towering, Penampang, on Tuesday. It was learnt that a 34-year-old Chinese was heading from Lintas to Penampang with his two friends when the incident occurred at about 2am. When they reached the roundabout near a Petronas fuel station, the Toyota Hilux they were in crashed into a divider.

The vehicle then rammed into a parked lorry before ending up in a nearby drain. All three sustained light injuries in the early morning incident. Meanwhile, two siblings were injured when the vehicle they were in rammed into a tree along Jalan Kopungit, here, Tuesday.
