KKBA targeting 1,000 entries

Kota Kinabalu: Kota Kinabalu Basketball Association (KKBA) celebrating its 60th anniversary this year will organise a Spritzer Eagles Fun Run and a three-on-three competition next month.KKBA chairman Fung Chun Fatt said the 9km run will start at the Tanjung Lipat public park on June 10 while the basketball competition will be held at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex from June 30-July 1.He said they are targeting 1,000 entries for the run which will start at 7am and so far 400 have confirmed their participation.

He added there will not be any winners in the run, but each runner will get the chance to win attractive prizes including cash vouchers for trips to South Korea and Taiwan as well as a Samsung Pad, Samsung J7Pro, two units of mountain bikes and five sets of KKBA 60th year gold medal collection plus many others.On the basketball competition, six categories will be staged with the open and veteran (40 and above) for men and women, as well as age groups for the under 12,14,16 and 18 juniors.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
