Hilton signs MoU with Inti

Kota Kinabalu: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between Hilton Kota Kinabalu and Inti College for Work-Based Learning Programme (WBL) is expected to give students greater experience in the hospitality profession.The hotel's General Manager Linda Pecoraro said the collaboration will not only enhance relationship but also set the foundation for producing talented and successful graduates in the hospitality industry."Growing the pool of skilled talents and professionals in Sabah is key to supporting the continued growth of the hospitality and tourism industry.ADVERTISEMENT "The WBL programme is a key initiative in producing quality hospitality graduates integrating theory into practise in the workplace as they work hand in hand with distinguished chefs, hotel managers and other industry practitioners in the real-life work setting," Pecoraro said during the MoU signing, here, Tuesday.She said the MoU will be a doorway for students of the college to acquire rare skills and finesse from senior professionals as well as an educational strategy that will provide the students an opportunity to put theory into practise in the working life."I am confident that as greater awareness of professional training increases, more institutions and professional bodies will work hand in hand with educational institutions for training and development," Pecoraro said.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
