Villagers settle arrears with SESB

Sandakan: Villagers of Kampung Forest and Kampung Batu Sapi have settled their RM24,591 electricity bill arrears with Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB).SESB Senior General Manager (Assets Management) Mohd Yaakob Jaafar said the arrears were paid following discussions and a consensus reached by both parties.Although the arrears has been paid, Kampung Batu Sapi villagers still owe RM16,659 and SESB had given them until June 25 to make the payment.
