Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Rhinos came from two goals down to stun Misc-Mifa 3-2 with Hector Ramos netting the late winner in the Premier League clash at the Likas Stadium on Wednesday night. The home side started well in the early stages, however, it was the visitors who managed to find the net first with import player Kpah Sherman scoring the opener in the 16th minute when he powered past the Sabah defence to beat the on rushing Rozaimi Rohmi in goal.

He then added his second in the 33rd minute when he started the move in his own half where his pass allowed fellow striker L'imam Seydi to make a run towards goal before squaring the ball for him to slot in.

Sabah skipper Rawilson Batuil then reduced the deficit three minutes later with a close range header from a free kick taken by Sabri Sahar.

Sabah had two opportunities to find the equaliser deep into first half added time but the Misc-Mifa keeper was in excellent form as he first denied a 30-yard shot from Hamran Peter with a flying save followed by another stop from a header by Rodoljub Paunovic at the far post.

Sabah were in total control in the second half after Hamran scored his first senior goal in the 50th minute following a poor clearance from the Misc-Mifa defence in the box. However, they were unable to find the third despite their dominance until Hector's left foot strike from close range with seven minutes to go.

The win was Sabah's fifth of the season and they remained in fifth place with 21 points and their next match is against Sarawak on June 26 in Kuching.
