Duo win Tenom Umno Youth, Puteri posts unopposed

Tenom: Two people, including a Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) graduate, won uncontested the posts of Umno Tenom Youth Chief and Puteri Chief in the party's election after the closing of the nomination on June 17.UMS graduate Bobby Balang, 28, who won the Umno Tenom Youth Chief post uncontested, said his presence is to invite youths to rise up to fight and strengthen Umno to continue the party's legacy."We want to restore Umno's image and dignity so it can continue to fight with a new spirit and erase past weaknesses faced in the 14th General Election (Ge-14)," he said this when met by reporters, Wednesday.

Roslaily Bokun, 31, hailing from Kampung Sungai Api, won the Umno Tenom Puteri Chief post uncontested.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

A newcomer in the political world, Roslaily said she is ready for her new duties and responsibilities even though it will be quite heavy. She said she feels spirited and wants to see Umno rise to the top like before.
