Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Under-19 squad are determined to get all three points when they take on Pahang in the Youth Cup competition at the Penampang Stadium, this afternoon at 4.15pm.Team Azman Mastar said the players are well prepared for the match under coach Ayyman David after the long break and are ready to get back to winning ways.

The team last played on May 13 where they lost 4-1 to Selangor at home and they last tasted victory against Kuala Lumpur on April 22.

"It has been quite a long time since we won and with the preparations the players had from Ayyman and also inputs from former players such as Datuk James Wong, Matlan Marjan and Datuk Hassan Sani during the break, I believe the players will take the opportunity of playing at home to get back on winning path."

In the first round meeting back on April 4, Sabah shared point with Pahang after they drew 1-1 at the Stadium Mini UIA Indera Mahkota, in Kuantan.

The likely starting 11 are Joslan Aping in goal, Andrew Beckham, Syann Elvin Steven, Xsevier Xcico Felex in defence, Owen Piou, Syukri Baharun, Fyellowallye Mcandra Jappri, Fakhrul Ideris, Leonardo Lisua in midfield with Faqruazi Ahmad and Hijaz Lokman in attacks. - GL Oh
