"I am issuing this clarification and reminder because my office recently received numerous phone calls from the public inquiring about the distribution and processing of land ownership forms. "There is no such thing as distribution and processing of land ownership forms now being carried out by the office of the Silam Division or instruction from the Warisan leadership," he said.Mohammadin said any offer of land ownership should be implemented through the proper channel from the relevant authorities. While it is true that Warisan wants local people to have land ownership, in line with its manifesto, the Silam Member of Parliament emphasised that the exercise, if implemented, will have to undergo the proper channel and not through unclear and dubious procedures.
